Eco Mulch is produced using carefully selected recycled tree trimmings that are aged to create a natural looking product. Our eco-friendly mulch is designed to enhance soil health, provide an attractive ground cover, and support sustainable and economical landscaping practices. Very popular with clients who are wanting to cover larger areas or who require a more cost-effective mulch. Laid at 100mm depth Eco Mulch becomes an effective weed suppressant barrier as well as retaining moisture levels and helping maintain consistent soil temperature. Super Scree Mulch is a versatile and cost-effective mulch option made from high-quality tree bark and wood chip. Super Scree is our most popular mulch and has been specified in thousands of projects in and around the Christchurch and Canterbury area for many years. This mulch becomes resistant to wind disturbance over time and will suppress weeds when applied at a minimum depth of 100mm. Black Beauty Mulch adds a modern and sophisticated touch to any landscape design. We suggest you lay a tarp down on driveways prior to tipping off the trailer to avoid the concrete soaking up any colour transference.
Our Standard Bark Nuggets 25mm is a mixed grade nugget that contains a combination of smaller nuggets and cambium bark, with a particle range between 10-25mm. This bark nugget creates a more "natural" looking finish on your garden, is less decorative than our Premium Bark Nuggets, but still looks great. During the refining process the nuggets also pass through our state of the art wash plant to remove stones and other impediments. Our Standard Bark Nuggets are CSS Bark Mulch - Normal Grade approved

Standard Bark Nuggets 25mm offers a more premium option than the recycled wood mulch options, at an affordable price. With the high percentage of cambium blended through this helps bind the particles together and make an excellent mulch option.
Premium Bark Nuggets 20mm is a premium grade bark product made from carefully selected and processed pine bark. These decorative nuggets look great on the garden and create a nice finish to your outdoor area. These nuggets are excellent on areas where you want a contemporary look with a more subtle touch, especially in malls, arcades and on inner-city gardens. They are excellent where you have smaller plantings, as the bark complements the size of the plants, as well as aiding in weed suppression and soil moisture control. During the refining process the nuggets also pass through our state of the art wash plant to remove stones and other impediments. Our Premium Bark Nuggets are both CSS Bark Mulch - Normal Grade, and CSS Bark Mulch - Premium Grade approved. They also meet the NZS5828:2015 / EN1177:2018 playground surfacing standard

Premium Bark Nuggets 20mm is the smallest grade we produce for premium nuggets. As well as their high aesthetic look, they are also certified for use on playgrounds when applied at 300mm settled depth.
These mid-size nuggets are popular due to their decorative features and tidy finished look they create on the garden. The nuggets go through an extensive screening process to remove the stringy cambium bark, leaving behind a 20- 30mm ornamental nugget that will complement any commercial or residential setting. During the refining process the nuggets also pass through our state of the art wash plant to remove stones and other impediments. Having a good layer of bark nuggets not only looks great by adding the finishing touch to your garden, its other benefits include aiding in weed suppression and soil moisture control. Safe Fall Playground Chip is a certified playground surface supplied across South Island for contractors, councils, schools, and families. It is designed to prevent head injury through its superior impact absorption, creating a cushioned landing. This product meets the requirements of the NZS5828:2015 Playground Equipment and Surfacing Standard and the EN1177:2018 Method 1, Impact attenuating playground standard. Certification is based on a maximum critical fall height of 3.0m when applied at a settled depth of 300mm depth. Material must be installed at an un-compacted depth of 350mm to compensate for approx. 50mm of initial compaction. Our Safe Fall is used in the famous, much loved, Christchurch Margaret Mahy playground. As well as many school and park playgrounds South Island wide.
