Safe Fall Playground Chip is a certified playground surface supplied across South Island for contractors, councils, schools, and families. It is designed to prevent head injury through its superior impact absorption, creating a cushioned landing. This product meets the requirements of the NZS5828:2015 Playground Equipment and Surfacing Standard and the EN1177:2018 Method 1, Impact attenuating playground standard. Certification is based on a maximum critical fall height of 3.0m when applied at a settled depth of 300mm depth. Material must be installed at an un-compacted depth of 350mm to compensate for approx. 50mm of initial compaction. Our Safe Fall is used in the famous, much loved, Christchurch Margaret Mahy playground. As well as many school and park playgrounds South Island wide.
