It is designed to prevent head injury through its superior impact absorption, creating a cushioned landing. This product meets the requirements of the NZS5828:2015 Playground Equipment and Surfacing Standard and the EN1177:2018 Method 1, Impact attenuating playground standard. Certification is based on a maximum critical fall height of 3.0m when applied at a settled depth of 300mm depth. Material must be installed at an un-compacted depth of 350mm to compensate for approx. 50mm of initial compaction.

Premium Bark Nuggets 20mm is the smallest grade we produce for premium nuggets. As well as their high aesthetic look, they are also certified for use on playgrounds when applied at 300mm settled depth.
Our Standard Bark Nuggets 25mm is a mixed grade nugget that contains a combination of smaller nuggets and cambium bark, with a particle range between 10-25mm. This bark nugget creates a more "natural" looking finish on your garden, is less decorative than our Premium Bark Nuggets, but still looks great.
