Swale Mix is designed to help establish resilient vegetated basins within swale systems. These basins play a crucial role in storm water management by capturing, storing and filtering runoff. The also help control the velocity and volume in which water is released into storm water systems. Our mix creates an excellent growing environment for grasses and plantings, as well as providing a natural high pollutant trapping efficiency for sediment, grease, oils, and bacteria. Crucially our Swale Mix is CCC Swale Mix approved.

Rain Garden Mix has been engineered for the use in areas where water runoff from commercial buildings and car parks through a natural bio filtration system is required. It is designed to slow the movement of water into storm water systems by allowing water and minerals to be absorbed by the plants. It also aids in silts being trapped in the garden and pathogens removed by the biological and physical processes. Rain gardens create a fantastic habitat for birds, bees, insects and butterflies. Rain Garden Mix is also CCC Rain Garden Mix approved.

Infiltration Mix has been engineered for the use in areas where water runoff from commercial buildings and car parks through a bio filtration system is required. The purpose is to slow water movement to storm water systems, and clean the water, allowing minerals to be absorbed by the plants. It also aids in silts being trapped in the garden and pathogens removed by the biological and physical processes. These rain gardens create a fantastic habitat for birds, bees, insects and butterflies. There is a slightly lower percentage of Organic Compost in the Infiltration Mix compared to the Rain Garden Mix, for those planting situations where lower Nitrogen levels are better suited for the plants or environment.
